Tussen Kunst en Kitsch

For the Dutch version of the internationally acclaimed television program Antiques Roadshow, Two Screen created a home-expert application.

Viewers can participate with the program with their laptop, tablet or mobile phone (as always, 'Everybody is welcome!'). Selected items can be looked at in the application during the broadcast. You can zoom in on the details and give a value quote before it's done on the first screen. After login in with Facebook or Twitter, people can share and compete with their friends.

About the show

'Tussen Kunst & Kitsch' is a Dutch television program that is broadcasted by the AVRO since 1984. The program is copied from the BBC program Antiques Roadshow.

Appraisers of antiques travel with the show to various cities. Area citizens bring articles for appraisal and often relate the histories of these items. The appraisers then expand on what is known about the treasures, sometimes exposing them as fakes, and they estimate the pieces' financial value.
